I just bought a bunch of original Allis B implements. Left and Right plow, Cultivaters with frames and lifts, fertilizer dist., one row planter, and a bunch of other peices and parts. My problem is that I am going to sell them and need to know if I can still get a implement book to know what goes with what?? Can I buy a reprint? I checked the auctions for used ones but so far I'm not having any luck.. Jonathan (JJK Tractor Salvage)

I have original A/C manuals for the belly mount sickle mowing machine and pull behind disc harrows that came with my 1942 B. I don't have the one for the land plows but wish I did, since I have the plows. The manuals for the mower and harrows include setting up directions and illustrated parts lists. Email me if they would be of interest to you and we can work something out about getting them copied.

You might try posting on the Literature board, but I've never seen the owner's manuals for most of this stuff.

Check the archives for a thread on the plow. You need the front drawbar (mounts to the final drives like the rear one), its adjusting lever (mounts to the square tube that supports the fenders), the lift/lower arm (curved lever, mounts to fender support and final drive)(unless the trackot has hydraulics), the suspension cradle (includes the rockshaft, mounts to pivots that mount to the rear of the angle irons on the fender), the beam and plow.

I paid $50 for the plow and front drawbar, and $50 for the lift.

The cultivator - there is a frame, the arch goes in the back, the other end bolts to the torque tube near the engine. The sweeps clamp to the frame. You take the row down the center of the tractor, the wheels run in the space between the rows, the sweeps in the back go behind the wheels.

I paid $75 for my cultivator.

I have no idea on the planter.

I suspect the disc just hooks to the drawbar and pulls behind. They go $50-100 depending upon the shape of blades and bearings (blade at $9 add up).

If any of this has round loops of 1" steel at the front it might be CA snap coupler stuff.

Where are you located?
