Have Allis, no serial plate that I can find on tractor or engine. There is a number stamped on transmission plate just below shifter (as refered to in book I have) and it is 224692 and just below the number there is a "G" casting. The only 6 digit serial numbers in book do not appear to be this tractor model (B, WC, WD, WD45. Am I looking in the right place? No numbers on rear differential as would be on a WD. I can send good pictures if you ask to help identify.

the serial number of the smaller tractors B,C,CA is in front of the transmission selector, stamped into the case. You have too many digits. It should start with B,C,or CA and have 4 or 5 digits. This assumes your tractor a 4 cylinder motor, no frame, just a torque tube between the engine and transmission. radiator and engine in the front? the bigger older tractors have the serial number on the rear axle housing, and they have a c-channel frame around the motor transmission area..
