Does anyone know what year Electric start was available on AC WC?

I'm no expert for sure but my '38 has electric start. The head lamps are attached with U bolts to the plate bridging the upright supports for the rear of the gas tank.

Chris, electric start was available as an option on the unstyled w-c. It became stndard equipment on the styled ones.

If you have a late model Unstyled check the frame
rail where the generator mounts if it has holes then at least lights were an option

What kind of lights did a unstyled '38 have.Where did they mount? Mine had a generator on when I got it years ago but no lights or starter. Am in the process of taking the motor apart if things move. Hope to get it a runner.

Chris, if I remember rite late 1938 wc had electric start. all though you can install a styled wc bell housing with starter in the unstyled ones.
