Wide front C?

My Dad has an opportunity to get a C with a wide front. One of my books says that about 5,000 of the 84,000 C's made had a wide front. (It is different than the B wide front.) It has a loader. It needs a battery and front tires but good condition other than those things. What is a reasonable price?

Jodie, it is a hard thing to say. I live in central Illinois and have seen several sell at farm sales for $700. (basic tractor, narrow front end) that run, but could use some work (need tires, battery , etc) On the other hand i have seen them in the paper for $1500 for the same condition tractor. A lot depends on the audience you are talking to. The loader is probably worth another $400. If it runs o.k. and looks good. Depends on how much you want it, but if is $2000 or more i would reconsider.
