Anyone hear of a b tricycle front end?

I have a B with a narrow front and bought it as a factory special order. When I cleaned off the front of the torque tube where the wide front wishbone attaches I found where the square head of the bolt welded to the wishbone made an indentation.
Several posted that Allis never did put them togather so I called an eighty year old man that worked in an Allis dealership before 1938 and up untill he retired. He told me he never saw one but with some of the special orders that came through the dealership he worked for, he would not say that Allis didn't put some togather.
Roger VanCamp, one of the Allis B and C parts dealers that don't make up stories, will tell you that Allis did in fact put togather a few.

Thats what ya get for thinkin. Its a B with a C front.
Notice the space between the fender and tire on a C. Also look at the stearing arm pointing down on the B while the stearing arm sticks up on a C. Also look at the shape of the wheel weights.

Some of these appear to have been converted very early in life. I think Dick L had the one on the thread. He finally identified the conversion, it seems to me by paint differnces.

Of course, a guy could swap tractor halves (trans and finals, or bellhousing back) and get the same result.

My B has a CR (replacement) engine in it.

A large number of parts from the two tractors are interchangeable, as they are quite similar, with the front ends being the biggest difference.
