What is the gasket thickness for the oil pump on a model B. And does anyone in Australia know where I can get some implements for the model b tractor please. they must be in working condition or nearly working condition. thanks. Also, does anyone know of any Allis Chalmers Tractor clubs in Australia?

Where abouts in Oz are you mate!
I have two 1948B Allis Chalmers that I am restoring, What about availabilty of parts over there..over here there is a guy in Auckland Andrew Lusty in Papakura if you cant find anybody there.
as to clubs I think that if you look for a vintage tractor club or even a stationary engine club you will be on your way to finding some like minded friends

The paper gasket that goes between the pump cover and pump body and is packed in the gasket kit is .004 thick. I just opened and checked two sets and they were both the same.

Select gasket to give 1 to 3 thou. end play, rotor to pump cover. If end play is excessive, lap rear surface of pump body to bring back to spec. Good luck.

Thin enough so you have only a few thousands of clearance I think.

tom 1 to 3 thousandths according to manual specs if over 3 you can mill cover..... ..... .
