Wayne, it good to see you come off the stage and finally get a tractor! I really liked your acting years ago in that mini-series "North and South" . Pete pretty much has that right. However, there is still a lot of info that can be had. One real good source of basic information is the Allis-Chalmers Farm Tractor and Crawlers Data Book by Terry Dean. It has listings for A-C wheel tractors and crawlers from 1914 through 1963. Horsepower, year of manufacture, optional equipment, etc. It's about $12 from Barnes and Noble, but they will probably have to order it for you. The ISBN number is ISBN 0-7603-0770-9.

Wayne, Not much more than the year of manufacture with an AC. Deere can provide build date, destination, and sometimes original buyer for their tractors, but it costs an arm and a leg and your 1st born now. Pete
