Operator manual says to use 10 or 20 weight oil in transmission, however, I can't find any of this weight oil. What's everyone else use in their's?

We've used Texaco's ATF (Texamatic, probably now called Rondo) in our CA's transmission/hydraulics for 30+ years with no problem. I wouldn't use 90 w there since there are hydraulics to be used. A 30w non-detergent may work well or perhaps most any universal hydraulic fluid.

I have a "B" machine, in which I use 80wt. differeential oil in the final drives as well as the transmission. Luck and God Bless America, Happy Holidays.

You should be using trans-hydraulic fluid. You can buy it at any Farm and Home Store. You can even get it at Wal-Mart. It is 20 wt oil and will keep the oil from foaming if yuo have a hydraulic system attached.

You should be able to get that at a TSC or Quality Farm store. $10 for 2 gallons.

Here in NC I can get away with using 30 wt, non-detergent in my 1950 Model B. It may be too thick to use when your weather gets cold in IN.

a#32aw hydraulic oil is real close to the 10-20wt oil but I don,t know how it would work in the tractor, I used it for years in piston type air compresors, the (aw) is antiware agents added good luck
