I have my eye on a G Allis Chalmers that is in all original shape. It still has the 6 volt system and appears to be in fair shape. The tin looks good but is a little rusty. The tractor has always been in a shed but it definitly has its work clothes on. The owner has had it for 20+ years. He said three years ago when he parked it that it did smoke a bit but had good compression and ran pretty good. This G will come with the following equipment: BushHog brand belly mower (fair shape), fertilizer hoppers, disk tiller, planters (with lots of seed plates), cultivators, and some miscellaneous parts and literature. The firm price is $2750. I am hoping someone can tell me if this is a fair price. Thanks in advance for any response...Thanks!

Saw a nice G at a estate auction, it went for $2200 and was in excellent shape, parade ready, as I hear them say, It did not come with any implements, although, if I had the cash, I would be owing it right now.

be careful about that engine, it's the most expensive engine put in an ac, allis parts are expensive anyway. the "g" is not a collectors tractor here as much as it is an investers (people who tell us what we are supposed to like, and set the market) tractor.

In my neck of the woods (central MI), with all of
those implements, that would be a great deal -
even better if the G had hydraulics.

If the tires do not need replaced, that is a decent price, considering the implements. Are you looking for restoration or small farm use?

I will restore it and use for puttering around and maybe for some light mowing duty.
