Just bought the tractor and noticed that it likes to pop out of 3rd gear.. Is this just going to be a annoying problem. Or will it get worst, and should be fixed?

Thanks Josh

My D15 did that when I got it to the cover off the side and the set screw in the shifter rail was loose tightened it up and it works good now.I was lucky on that.

My Friend was just showing Me how He fixed His Dad's D-14 Loader tractor. Pretty easy actually. Shift forks are in side panel, remove and replace with good used forks and make sure they aren't all bent up. He discovered a fork that the set screw was loose on that may have been most of His problem. He had just bolted it back together and test run the tractor but hadn't filled the rearend with oil. It did shift further into gear after the repair than before. Detent spring had broken too.

Josh, AC is famous for this, it is so prevalent that we wonder what is wrong when we look at one that doesn't pop out of 3rd. Pete
