I need some help with an Allis B I'm working on, i THINK the clutch is stuck. as the engine drags a lot, even if i tie the clutcf pedal down. and when I try to pull start it, it'll just make the tires skid. how can i free this up without splitting the tractor?? Jay B.

this is not uncommon for a C or B that has a minor rear oil seal leak. Over several years the oil will collect on teh clutch and eventually lock up as you mention. Pull the starter off, use a pressure washer if you have one and blast the cluthc and flywheel thru the startere housing, then thru the 2 inch hole in the bottom below the fly wheel. If you dont have a pressure wsher use a bug sprayer and fill it with liquid laundry soap and hot water, anything to cut oil and grease. To break the clutch loose, start the tractor in gear and move slowly forward. keep the clutch pedal down disengaged. stomp on the brakes hard several times. it should pop loose. i have even backed up aginst a tree or block wall and let it "bump" to jar the clutch. After it pops you should do the cluthc washing again. May try to break it loose first, then do the wash with the cluth pedal down.
