You may find either your implement was shipped with the wrong length pto shaft (which happens every once in a while since the pto shafts are usually purchased from another company for the equipment) or that your 3ph setup has the implement too close to the tractor's pto shaft. If it's the wrong shaft the company will usually trade you even. Oddly enough the ASAE Standards don't appear to have this particular dimension covered. ASAE standard S217.11 seems to indicate the 3ph will be slightly further out than the drawbar - something we hope for since the drawbar stays on the tractor nowadays ...! ASAE Standard S482 notes for a drawbar: For a "standard" drawbar length the center of the drawbar hole should be 350 mm plus or minus 10 mm (13.77 inches plus or minus 0.4 inches) from the end of a tractor's 540 rpm output pto shaft and 200 to 300 mm (7.8 to 11.8 inches) in vertical distance between the drawbar and the pto shaft. Other drawbar lengths include a "shortened" drawbar position with the hole center 250 mm (9.8 inches) from the pto shaft end and a "lengthened" drawbar position with the hole 500 mm (19.6 inches) from the pto shaft end (most newer tractors have 2 or 3 drawbar postions). Check the snowblower's manual - it should give some guidance about this dimension. A good thing to try would be to find a newer tractor and measure the distance from the end of the pto shaft to the center of the 3ph arm hole.
