There is one more possibility. It could be a G.
The G will be easy to identify as it has a rear mounted engine and a tubular steel frame. It's also very small compared to the other A-C tractors.

Thats not much info. In '55 you had two basic designs of tractors. The little tractors are "B" or or "CA". you are talking about a 20-25 HP tractor that weighs between 2500-3000 pounds. It is distinguished by no frame. ITs backbone is the engine, torque tube and transmission forming a backbone of the tractor. Base line on the tractor is about $700. They can go up to $2000. but have to be good paint and tires and look nice.
The bigger tractor is the WD45 version. These are distinguisable by the C-channel frame around the engine and radiator and bolted back to the transmission area. This tractor is up around 40 HP and 4000- up pounds. Price range is about the same as the little ones. Base it $700. upper end is about $2000. Of coures you can run into a low end tractor for $500. and some guys think they can get $3500. but those are the extremes. Hope that helps. most guys will tell you the price is whatever you think it is worth. Remember a rear set of tires can run $500 mounted and engine overhaul kit about that too.
