I recently read of a company that sold a powder coating system to use at home. They don't mix up custom colors ( Persian Orange). The only orange they made was a Chevy Orange. My question is how far out of correctness? are these two shades from each other? Thanks

I used Chevrolet orange in a spray can made by Plastikote on my 48 B's engine and a all of the small parts, and used a gallon of Persian Orange by Dulux on all the big panels such as fenders, hood etc. and you can't tell the difference. They're almost an exact match! Don't know what shade you would come out with with that powder coat though.... Steve

Chevy orange is most comparable to Corporate Orange.

The last time I saw Chevy Orange, it had a fair amount of red in it.
