AC-G belly mower

I recently came into possesion of an AC-G. This little tractor is rough but mostly complete (It needs a grill and battery box cover). It was part of a deal that fell through and now I have it.

It needs the steering freed up, I think the engine is stuck. and it needs all of its tires. In short a real project that I do not have the time for.

To bump it up in the queue, it needs to be given a job. So, the question I have is, does anyone make a belly mower for the little G? If so, how much?

Wood, Mott, king kutter all made mowers for this tractor. Woods had made them up till a few years ago, and you may be able to find one used. I would buy another tracvtor to use as a lawn mower as I have a G with a Mott flai mower. It does do a good job at cutting grass, but the problem is with the PTO...it is always engange!!! Thus yoou need to turn off the tractor to stop the mower...a real pain ith the neck...plus it is a safety hazard.

Your tractor sounds a lot like the one I got. However, my rear tires were good. Mine required a complete re-man. Even a new front frame, front end and proper axels & housings. I didn't realise that it had been modified for narrow work! Front end chopped down and all. The clutch housing had been broke (should have seen the mess repair). I replaced that. engine block starter flange was broke off. anyway, I should have bought a show tractor. it would have been cheaper! as for the belly mower, if you get that far, go down to the hardware and buy a couple lawn mowers & hang them under the tractor. no worries about power! good luck.
