I have an engine in an E-111 Gleaner combine, was going to junk the combine and maybe sell the engine, I was told it was the same as a D-17 gas. If I don't sell it, I had thought about maybe putting it in a tractor. It looks just like a wd-45 engine pretty much, except it has a mechanical fuel pump.Putting it in a D-17 would be a lot better though as far as usefull. Any help from ya'll A.C. specialist would be a help, All I know about is them old red tractors. Thanks

I'm pretty sure they are the same though I've never checked the engine tags on either one . Those E's were an amazing little combine in their day for the size of them. I've worked on them and driven them in the field and also the D17 but I've never actually done the swap. Must be somebody out there that has!!
