My dad bought an allis model 20-35, I beleive around a 1928 or 1929. It is on full steel. Other than that we do not know much about it. Can anyone tell me what the forerunner and the models that replaced this one. Also the engine cid, hp, and weight? Does this tractor have an oil filter?

From Terry Dean's book:
Nebraska test no 83
Serial nos. 6161-24185
engine, AC verticle two cylinder I head
bore and stroke 4.75x6.5
RPM 930
Displacement 460.7 cu. in. Compression ratio 5.2:1
Fuel, deroscene or gasoline
Drawbar hp 25.45 Belt 43.73 Maximum pull 3,510 lbs. weight 6640

Later on in the specs. it mentions the firing order, 1-3-4-2, which says 4 cylinder engine, I think maybe the two cylinder spec. is a misprint. Price$1685 in 1925, the short fender model in 1929 was $1205.

Hope this helps, I think it would be a keeper, especially if it is running, has been in the family too long to get rid of, Good luck with it. There is more information but it seems too much to type out here, if you are interested maybe you could find a copy of the book. It's the Allis-Chalmers Farm Tractors and Crawlers Data Book, by Terry Dean.
