i am looking for a power steering pump for a 58 d17d it is square & looks like the pump on ser. 3&4 d17g or d19 but it mounts on the back of the generator.thanks for any help david

You can still get the splined coupler from AC.

About a year ago I was looking for the same thing for my wd 45 diesel and the power steering pumps are about impossible to find. I ended up getting a generator and pump both off of an older clark fork truck. Clark used the same set up as allis chalmers. And there are a lot more old fork trucks around than old diesel allis chalmers.
