Is it possible to put remote hydraulics on a WD or WD-45? How much more is a wide front worth? Will a WD-45 Wide Front work on a WD?

Keep in mind that the AC hydraulic system is a high pressure system, with a low flow rate. Standard hydraulic cylinders are not able to handle the pressure. You need to use a cylinder that is rated to at least 4000 psi. Any hydraulic hoses and fittings must also be rated to at least 4000 psi.

The WD-45 WF will fit the WD; I took the measurements off a WC and I cannot see any reason why it would not fit it as well. If you buy a WF, make sure you get all the pieces off the same tractor as there are two different versions; one with a 3 bolt plate and a later with a 4 bolt plate.

I have just restored a '49 WD and left the remote lines and connections off. I would sure part with them, they are OK.
