Snap coupler question

I just bought a rear mount blade, which is a three point hitch type. I want to modify it for use on my CA. Does anyone know of a source for a ring(looks like one link of a chain), that could be used to make my own mount. I assume it would need to be hardened, in order to withstand the abuse it will take. I believe I can weld up a tongue similar to an original AC blade, provided I can find something to use for this ring. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

Many barn cleaner chains are a hook with a loop. You could possibly cut off the hook and weld the loop to your hitch.

I modified my disc to fit into the snap coupler on my D15 so it could be lifted with the lift arms. I used a small clevis hook and welded it to the tongue of the disc, it works great.
