D10 Seris II adjustable lift arms

The AC 3 point hitch adjustable lift arms on my little D10 have done all the adjusting they are going to do. The treads on the shaft are slipping through the female threaded portion of the lift arm assembly. There is over .020" loss of threaded rod diameter in the upper part of the rod. The bottom part appears to be fine and the arm will adjust and thread just fine in the more unused part of the rod area. Can anyone direct me to a new or salvaged set of arms or is there a way to repair what I have? I really want to keep the AC crank handle ajustment arms for box blade work.

Louis,

I recently finished a complete restoration of my D12 Series III with factory three point hitch. I purchased new clevises (bottom) and cranks (top) from my Allis dealer. AGCO wants big $$$ for theirs, but my dealer found replacements through A&I (aftermarket). They match the original style of the Series III and are excellent quality. I believe the Series II style crank is slightly different, but these should work just fine if you're not worried about originality. Here are the prices and part numbers:

Lower yoke clevis - 70235820 - $53.90
Crank - 70235823 - $43.80

I would replace both components on both sides for smooth, seamless adjustment. Feel free to e-mail if you need more information.

Hey thanks Brian! I may have found a machinest that can make a new all thread and attach the original handles/cranks. But, I'll keep your info handy in case the repair runs into more than I'm thinking.
