I have a 49 WD. motor may have been up graded to a wd 45 it has a power crater sticker on the motor.Is there a easy way to tell for sure.i thought i had leaky gasket took side cover off and found a bent rod.still ran strong didn't even know there was any thing wrong.Could this have hurt any thing else? I am not a internal motor person can any give me advice? where is a good place to buy parts? Thanks for any help

Mike; You're engine might well have been upgraded to WD-45 standard, many were. Unfortunatly there is no real way to tell, without a dyno, or pulling the head to measure the bore. The "rod" you mention is a "pushrod", this can be removed easily enough and straightened by a machine shop. Do check the valve it operates to be sure it is not sticking. Once you get the pushrod back and reinstalled, have the valve lash set on all valves. Could be a rocker arm was loose enough to bind and bend it. Good luck J.L.

That should be a pushrod. Remove it and it can be straightened. You will need to check the valve it operates to be sure it isn't sticking, which likely caused the bent pushrod.
If you want new parts, check with an AGCO dealer. They have a webpage (below) with a dealer locator so you can find the one nearest you.
