i have found a model b, it is a crank start with no electrics, good tin, bad tires, no seat, and a siezed engine. it also has the manual lifting arm, although i could not see what was under it, because the weeds were to high and thick. what would be a proper price to pay for this tractor.

I paid $380NZ (about 150US) give or take for a similar tractor here...engine was stuck and on unsticking the engine have found that the bore is damaged from the rings. it could have turned into an expensive exercise but I had two so I swapped an engine over and the munted engine will be a long term restoration as parts pop up...what I am saying is that if you do end up buying it you will find parts to repair and replace and you will buy other tractors - half the fun is sourcing the bits

Since the engine is stuck, I personally wouldn't give over $200-$250 for the whole thing. You never know what you might be getting into with a stuck engine until you tear it down. You could be getting big bucks in the engine alone - assuming the block is still good. You could get lucky, though!
