small tractors B,C have the serial number by the transmission shift lever. Bigger tractors WC,WD, WD45 have their numbers on the rear axle. This is assuming your tractor was made before 1960. If it is a D series look by the flange between engine and bellhousing left side of tractor. All serial numbers start with the model letter. Post again when you get a little more info. We can get the year.

My A/C tractor is a model C and the serial is C65055? am not sure of there is an other number on the end. The tractor is in working order with a overhaul about 20 hours ago. What would the price be?

it is a 1948 model"C".probably has a narrow front end with two small 15 inch tires. probably has a 6 volt battery and small hydraulic valve behind the seal. May or may not have a hydraulic cylinder for lifting implements. At auction the bas price of this tractor in the mid west (Illinois ) is about $700. if the paint is very good add $300. if the tires have good tread and not tooo many cracks add another $300. Sometimes the tractors sell for $1500. if you get some interested people, but normally you are in the $1200 range. If it had a mower deck you might get $500 more.
