Hello,
I have found in my neck of the woods, a Aliss Chalmers CA for sale for $500. The guy said it dosent run and he just wants rid of it. He dosent know a thing about it. So, my first question is, could I put a mower deck on it? And, when I go to repaint or restore it, where could I find the "AC Orange" paint? Becuase it is a working tractor. I have read the Article on this website. Also, what about the decals, where could I find them?
Thanks,
Chris Brown

I have a Woods L306AC mower to fit a CA. It has all the attaching hardware. It is in working order, and currently mounted on my CA. If you are interested, I can e-mail photos.

Thanks for the information Nick. I am from Ohio too, Steubenville. Where are you from?
Thanks,
Chris

I'm near Lima so we are just about on opposite sides of the state. I didn't say it before but I had the paint for my C mixed at an auto store like napa.

I have a few pictures at the link below, they make the CA look better than it does.

Nick, Your Dad got some nice shots of you Sat. I didn't get to see you pull. I was fussin with the B on your last pull. If you didn't stay, I beat Cork's General with the B. I had to chain load the B. It lost power and died at the end of my pull. It didn't run good going back over the scales and died again when I went to load. With only 15 min on the engine before coming to the pull I decided not to press my luck before checking it out. Found dirt in the carb and a compression check showed that the new rings have not seated in yet. A squirt of oil in each cylinder evened out the pressure on all four cylinders.
