B Governor is toast

While mowing the RPM's jumped up for a second and I shut her down. after poking around for a bit I pulled off the governor housing only to have pieces and parts greet me. I broke the wieghts off of the gear and mangled a few other parts related to the governor in the process. My suspicion is that one of the clips on the ends of the retaining pins came off or broke and, over time, worked its way out far enough to catch on the inside of the governor housing. Once one of the weights came off, the other one hit it, lodged against something and also broke off. Besides the gear, main shaft and weights assemblies, are there any other places I should be looking for damage? I plan on pulling the pan and cleaning out the bits and parts the may have fallen into the pan but are there any other places I should be concerned about?

BTW, I placed a "parts wanted" ad on this site. If anyone has a junker sitting around or the governor parts off of a B or C, let me know.

Be sure to look in the front timing gear cover and behind the cam gear for parts and pieces and check the gears, including the crank gear, for damage. Duey
