I am looking at a AC D15 that does not have a 3 point hitch. How much of a problem will this be to get implements to fit it. Can it be retro'd with a 3pth? The tractor is a 1963 and they are asking 3000, is this reasonable price (it has a bucket. Any editorial comments about this tractor? Thanks for all your input!!

an aftermarket 3 point will cost about $450. that size tracotr would be nice to have a three point. with a front end loader $3000. is not too far off, especially if it looks good and has good tires. You might be able to get for a couple hundred less with the economy the way it is now.

It should have the snap coupler setup. There are kits available to adapt them to full drawbar/3 pt.

My dad bought his D-15 new in '68 and it has been a great tractor. Replaced the clutch once and the hand clutch once. Being a gas tractor, they are quick to drink from the fuel can.
His tractor also has the front loader with hand dump bucket. We have found this to be of limited use.

We went and looked at this tractor today. My husband drove it and said the clutch doesn't grab until it is let out most all the way. Is that normal or is the clutch failing on this one. If so, how hard it to replace and how much does it cost. Also the rear tires (26") are pretty badly cracked and the rim on one side is ify. How much do you think it would cost to replace the rear tires, and may be a rim. Thanks for your input.
