How large of blade to move snow

I am looking for some input on scraper blade size for my WD. My engine is strong, rebuilt years ago with the crater pistons, but still limited to a 4� stroke, I am wondering if this unit can handle a 7� scraper blade. I have my wheels set about 5� wider that the 6� blade I now use, and I try to pull the snow off to one side in forward position. Steering is accomplished by braking with the light front end. Pushing backwards is no problem, just a pain in the neck. I don�t want to incur the cost of a 7� blade if the tractor can�t handle it. Maybe I should narrow the stance and stick with my 6� blade. Thanks in advance for your input.

Rob I have the rear 6' blade on a wd45,I think it works OK, I to thought about a bigger blade but I think the 7' would be to big.
I have been told a front blade is best.

Just my 2 cents, but my friend has a "C" with a 7ft blade and he said it works fine for him. We live in
Michigan and don't usually get more than 6" of snow at one time. He wanted the 7ft to cover his
wheel tracks
