Hi

I have been grading a 10 acre site w/ my HD10 which up until today, had been working beautifully. Like everything that is that old and still doing daily work, it has developed a couple of idiosyncracies, which I have no problem putting up with. One of them was it sometimes does not want to go from forward into reverse unless you put some slight left hand pressure to the shifting lever. Nobody had a problem with that, except my ex-employee (notice the operative term EX!!)who was operating the dozer today. Even though he knows exactly what needs to be done and how, he was seen pushing on the lever with his feet when the lever broke clean off in the tranny. I now need to either find a lever and replace it or fix the one I have got. Any suggestions? Any ideas re: sources for the lever? I suppose I could have it welded, but does not seem to be a reliable option. Would rather replace it if found. Quickly, so my blood pressure can come down again... I think that will only happen when I see her doing her job once again!!
