Hd5 specs a nice machine?

there is going to be an hd5 sold in a few months near me and i was wondering about the specs of this machine. i believe that it has a 2 cyl gm diesel engine and dry clutches but thats about all. i would like to know what its worth, power, weight, weak components (things that seem to be constantly breaking/going bad) and the overall opinion of it. anything else i forgot to mention would be helpful to know as well. it would be used mainly for fun on a small farm and in the mountain to load a few logs now and then and to maintain roads. ocassionally it may be called on to dig a basement or perhaps a pond or two. i have a jd 440 ic so i am fairly familier with crawlers.

I have a HD-5, it is a good little machine, very slow but nimble. I have about $3000 in it. The motor is plenty powerful enough, I have a 8 ft. straight blade. Built a house pad, garage pad and 500 ft. road for my brother this summer. I also clear brush, and bury construction waste. It is great for light duty dozer work but can't budge too big of a tree, I dig out the trees after chainsawing. Overall I believe it to be a good crawler for utility work and digging but has its limits, and mine has plenty of power just don't overload it. One good thing about the detroit that I have noticed is I have ran out of fuel probably 5 or 6 times (had a slight fuel filter problem) and I just fill the tank up and it starts right up. Johnny
