Dennis, in the mid 1980's Fiat had control of the construction division of Allis Chalmers. It was called Fiat Allis. The bull dozer (track dozer) line of equipment was called FD for fiat dozer. There was a FD10, 14, 20, 30, 40, and 50. Basically a 10 is a 100 HP class dozer and a 14 was a 140 HP dozer, etc. If you are talking about farm equipment , that is a different story.
