See this is why tractor racism is such a problem. All tractors may not be created equal but they should be treated equally... :) nice tractors!

I've had my 9N for 11 years and my D-14 for three months. The D-14 is the workhorse but the 9N still runs every day for odd jobs and remains the tractor of choice when I need to snake a log or bear or deer out of the woods -- it will go places the bigger machine won't and with its lower center of gravity, safer too!!

My D-10 has been in the family for a year and the 1939 Ford 9N has been in the family for 37 years. The D-10's a far superior tractor and does most of the real work but I keep the 9N around for little drawbar jobs and mainly sentimental reasons. I guess most old iron deserves to be treated kindly.

I'm not a big fan of N series, but a while back there were some geniuses talking about how much Kubotas are better than the N series tractors on the Ford-Diesel website. I guess it never occured to them that 60 some odd years of technology might give the Japs a leg up on those mid-thirties slide rule jockeys. I wish I could look those fellers up in another 60 years and see if their Kubotas are still running. I'll bet both the B and the N still will be, though. BTW, I've got an 850 Ford and a D-17. My grandfather has a 2N, a MH Mustang and a Cub. No need to discriminate. Only the green tractor boys are supposed to be that way :).
