WD-45 Crankshaft in WC

Are there any modifications necessary to put a WD-45 crank in a WC? I understand that the WD-45 has a longer stroke than the WC and am considering puting one in my WC if there are no serious modifications needed. Any help will be appreciated.

I have put a 45 crank into a WD no modifying needed. Makes a snappy tractor.

When my dad was in the AC business, some WD engines were retrofit with a 45 crank. I recall that the inside of the block had to be ground out a little to provide adequate clearance for the shaft to spin. And you have to use Power Crater pistons, the flat top ones cause way too much compression! I think this would all be true for a WC block as well.
