WD,I would like 2 know where is the S/N located on this tractor. I looked on the rearend on the left sideback like on the WD45 but it is not there, were is it?

Richard, I remember someone posting that they had a WD with the serial # on the flat surface on top under the left brake cover. Duey

Duey's right; The manual states that the tractor Ser.# is located "at" the LH brake cover or left rear of axle housing. As Duey says, some people have indicated that the number is "under" the LH brake cover. It must have been the early tractors, as I have tractors 1950 and above and all the numbers are located between the spring hole and adjusting bolt/locknut on the LH rear axle housing.

Can't tell you where it went, but you were looking in the right. Mine is located on the flat face above the LH Brake adjust
