does anyone have a part # of some brand of shock that will fit a seat on my ca,my parts place cannot help me. tks tommyma

Believe it or not, I put (2) old Yamaha shock absorbers from a '72 DT250 on my WD. Side-by side, they give an excellent ride and it looks good too. My son goes 200 plus and one wasn't near enough to hold him up.

I took the demensions of the old one from my CA to NAPA and they found an exzact match. But I had to buy a pair. I am now restoring a WD and the other shock is an exact match there too!!!!

The NAPA part # for the CA seat shock is

LE 10002 , $ 38.99

I had to buy a pair at that price for both. I used the other on a WD I am restoring now, perfect fit.
