I need to know where to find model # on a diesel motor on a WD-45. And if anyone knows please tell me what type of # I should be looking for

The wd-45 diesel used a model6bd230 Buda Diesel engine in all applications as far as I know. 6= no of cylinders BD= Buda Diesel 230= cu.in. displacement. The only thing you will find on the engine will be the serial no, and as far as ordering parts, will be irrelavant.: I need to know where to find model # on a diesel motor on a WD-45. And if anyone knows please tell me what type of # I should be looking for

There are different castings used for the head however, and these numbers may be useful, they are pretty conspicuous, and easy to find.
