WC originality questions

I have a few questions to originality of my 1945 WC allis.

1) what brand of tires were originally on my tractor?
2) did all magnetos used on WC's have the pull lever to shut them off? mine has a wire on the mag running to a push/pull switch like on the farmall letter series.

also wondering.... how much is a set of footbrake conversions worth? (a friend tells me the set is a dealer added option) I am not interested in selling the setup, bnut I am looking at a parts tractor, and friend tells me the askin price of 350 is fair because of a good rear rim/ new tire and footbrake conversion

and does anyone know how many horses this tractor runs? as far as I know the motor is still stock, and has not been overbored

My dad was a dealer and I recall that he would specify tire brand when he ordered. I have seen Firestone, Goodyear and Goodrich come in no particular order if not specified. And the brand on the rear did not necessarily match the brand on front. My WC has 11 - 28 Firestone rears and they look like original.

Good morning Brad, I have three WC's , two have the pull lever, one has a wired switch for killing the mag. I think the pull lever is the origional equip. My 1944 model came with Firestone tires front and rear. I have seen both 20 and 26 horse power listed for the stock engine. Can't shed any light on the footbrake question, none of mine have foot brakes. Dee

According to what I can find, I will side with you on the mag thing, all my books show them as using a pull rod similar to the choke. I assume this must be a newer mag off another model. As for the footbrake conversion.... it is the first I have ever saw myself, and I would just like to know if the parts tractor would ever be worht the money (for 1 good rim and decant tire, it really is not for me, for I do not have storage for ANOTHER parts tractor)
