Here's a copy out of my shop book, it's all I've ever seen. I think back then they took it as being too simple to go into much detail

Im sure someone has a wiring diagram for you. What exactly do you mean a voltage regulator for 12 volt. If you wish to run a 12 volt battery on your tractor, that is o.k. The battery will work batter and not know the difference in voltage. You probably have a magnito ignition and it has nothing to do with the battery. Your only problme will be the charging system. You will need a different 12v generator, 12v alternator, or just leave the wire off and charge the battery every monday when parked in the barn. Additional questionss on the system?
