I just looked at a D-17 that has a D-19 6 cylinder motor installed in it. The tractor has undergone a decent restoration, new clutch, brakes, lights, fluid changes and paint. It started easy and did not smoke although the engine had not been rebuilt. It was said to come from a Gleaner. The rear tires are weather checked and the tin has been cleanly modified to accept the exhaust position of the D-19 motor. It has also been converted to 12volt. The water temp gauge did not function but everything else seemed to. What is something like this worth? Thanks

Brad, tractor values vary greatly in different parts of the country, around here a 17 will sell for as little as $2,500 for one in running conditon, I have seen them sell for $6.000 or more with a loader on it,in average condition. check around at different dealers see what they want for one in about the same condition that you are looking at.

Does the D-19 motor increase or decrease the value of the tractor. What part of the country are you from? Thanks for the help.
