I have a '37 WC that is in my 'to be restored' area. Problem is is that right now I cannot move the tractor, I brought it home with one shredded rim in the front and no rubber to speak of. The hubs are six studded. What I need to find are some old rims I can use to support the front of the tractor and allow it to roll. My father in law is an amazing pack rat and had tons of tires and rims, mostly from old cars and trucks. Can you guys think of anything off hand that would fit the situation until time for the restoration and regular tractor rims? Thanks! -BTD

Rims off the rear of a old John Deere combine may work. I had 3 JD 45's, and they had 6 bolts.

I had the same idea on an old ford. I just got a couple random rims and drilled out my own holes. put 3 regular 1/2 inch bolts in each wheel to hold it to the hub. You say you have plenty of old wheels to choose from, just drill out a couple. Works fine as long as you dont plan on driving at a high rate of speed.
