I am looking at purchasing a CA to mow grass with, found one partially restored but owner says it slips out of third gear, is this an expensive repair? Hes asking $2500 for it. Has added 3pt conversion already, does not have mower. Is this high for one on these? I also might be interested in a D10 or D12(Late Model) if anybody knows of one. Thanks for any feedback. Duane.

Duane,
$2,500 sounds a bit high to me, especially with the third gear problem. I might offer him $1,500 and stress the transmission repairs required, telling him I would have to hire it done (even if I intended to do it myself, that would be a lot of work for me). I don't think the problem is too difficult to fix, but I've never done one either.

My 2,
Phil
