I need a little advise:A neighbor lady has a WD or WD-45 it says WD 45 but the engine has a plate on the right side so it was reengined or wrong sticker on it. I went over there this weekend an she had water in the oil. It had, had a water leak in the radiator and the other neighbor had run it low and refilled it while hot from the garden hose and broke the block and then he moved without telling her about the tractor, she was just sick when I pulled the head and found the bad news. She had put about 600.00 in the engine 2 years ago. It has a Freeman loader on it and some type of pin disconnect on it with a snow plow blade on it with a BIG tilt/dump Cyl on the bucket attachment and a two spool control. Filled tires in very good shape tread wise but one has some type of rubber compound patch on it (?) Rims look good with a adjustable tread width. The head was really clean with obvious new valves. Did a Quick check with a straight edge, looked ok As this was a running tractor most stuff is ok on it, but no 3 point though and its a Row crop front. I told her it was probably worth more in parts than sold as is. At this point she started crying as her husband has been dead for a few years and she is just eeking by and has no money to fix it. I want to help her out but can't spend tons of time doing it as I have too much of my own to deal with. There is a tractor/threshing show coming up in a couple of weeks near here, what parts are of demand for a Alice WD/WD45 that I could take up to the show for her? Carb, starter, manifold, lights, PTO shaft, loader. dist, and what are reasonable prices? what else?? hood tin looks good but fenders are rusted out. Tranny's good, is it worth anything ? it has a straight stick Gas tank, rear end? Trouble is I know about fords, but not much about the old alices Any help would be appreciated. Rich
