Which tranny oil for an IB?

Well, I'm an MM/JD guy who is working on an Allis IB at the moment. I'm wondering what type of oil to put into the transmission. This tractor has hydraulics set up for a mower, which I also have. I'm guessing that it's 90wt., but I've been told that the haudraulics run off the transmission oil. All I'm going off is the I&T manual (which is about worthless), so can anyone help?

Zack,
My regular B operating instruction and maintenance manual calls for 20 weight non-detergent oil. If the tractor is equipped with the belt pulley and PTO, add one extra quart of oil to the transmission for a total of seven quarts. It does not say if the hydraulics require extra oil, but I would think that at least an additional 1/2 quart would be required for two rams. Check the oil with the rams extended and add until full, or nearly so.
Any good quality transmission/hydraulic fluid will substitute for 20 weight non-detergent oil. AGCO 821 or equivalent will work fine. I use Tractor Supply Co.'s Traveller brand in mine.
