On my C I am mounting a snow plow pump That I had bought from northern and sold the truck before I installed it. It has power up and free fall down and power angling capability. I am going to use the power up mode on the three point and also on my tow behind sickle bar The angling feature will be plumbed and usefull for a harley rake when I rent one from time to time. This is the only way I know of other than hanging a pump on the engine to get live hydraulics on a C or B. You need to go directly to the bank and get 16 $100 bills, then proceed to the seller's house and pay him before someone else beats you there! Be sure to take your trailer with you when you go too.

My 2,
Phil

Restored means different things to different people. To me restored means taken apart and brought back to the condition it was when shipped from the factory.
It's a good price if it actualy has been restored. You would have that much in parts , labor, and paint. That is the engine has been rebuilt,Bearings and seals all through the tractor have been checked and replaced where needed. If it has just been cleaned and painted it would be average or above average.

thats a good price. Check the year. Does it have hydraulic pump on back, and does it have electric start? That can be the deciding factor. Tires look new and paint is high quality? If you answer yes to everything that is even better reason to buy. I live in the midwest.

The lack of a hydraulic system is going to be a bummer as is the lack of a starter. You really ought to consider what you're planning to do with it afterwords. As is stands, it's really only good for pulling and you just can't add an aftermarket 3 point hitch either. You'll eventually want to do something with it and you will be greatly restricted. Our Model B has a starter and hydraulics so it's okay. Our Farmall Model "A" is electric and parade ready but has no pump. We can't seem to sell it. My 2 cents worth.

Ya but, Roger VanCamp could fix him up with a bolt on unit with power takeoff, Belt pully, and hydraulic pump for under 200.00. If I remember right only seven bolts.

Could he do this for a Farmall "A" also? Do you happen to have his number/E-Mail address?
