Does anyone know where to get a schematic of the hydraulic lift system on the CA Allis. I have a manual and parts manual that shows the exploded view of the pump. But I need the schematic of how the fluid flows.

Bernard,
The CA has "one way" hydraulics. That is, the fluid goes through the same passages going out and coming back, determined by the position of the valve (lift or drop). Notice that your lift cylinders have only one hose attached to them. This applies pressure to the cylinder when the valve is in the lift position and allows fluid to return to the reservoir when the valve is in the lower position. The only pressure on the fluid when the valve is in the lower position is the weight of whatever implement is attached to the lift. Follow the lines from the valve and you'll pretty much have it figured out. The only other thing is the different ports inside the valve, but with the valve removed it'll be pretty easy to see how it works. If you don't have an I&T manual, you might want to get one. It will help a little bit more to understand how this works.

Phil
