I have a Schramm crawler with a ford flathead engine that is 1/2 tractor engine and 1/2 air compressor. is on steel tracks saw a picture of one taken in ohio with rubber tracks. would like to communicate with any one who has information on the ohio tractor I am in process of rebuilding mine and could use a carb if anyone has one avail.

Not to spoil good fun with actual factuals but the real name "tractor" came from the original name.... "traction engine" which later was shortened to "tractor engine" and then to "tractor."

Tracks didn't replace wheels until much later.

Another piece of valuable information (nothing related to tractors can be called 'trivia') is that it was a Hart-Parr employee who first coined the name "tractor."
