Gang,

I have a AC-B, and I'm not real sure of its age, where should the serial number be to find it? The second question is this the proper way of cleaning and maintaing the air filter to the carborator. I aam sorry that I don't have a manual but, I am getting one. Any help with these two questions would be great.

thanks,
Scott

Remove the oil bath air filter assembly (the whole thing). Clean the lower cup very throughly (be sure and check for rust pin holes - been there, had the bad experience). Swab the center tube clean, just like you would clean a shotgun barrel. Soak the whole assembly in gas or kerosene. This should remove most of the crud. Good luck.

Scott,

The sn. is located just forward of the shift lever on a flat boss. May be full of rust and paint so may have to wire brush a little, gently.

Hope this helps.

Roger
