Dad And I just got the tug finished and it will make it's debut at the 2001 historic farm days in Penfield IL. We are still looking for anyone who knows info on this thing. I think it is left over stock form the Allis buyout of Buda that Allis just threw together to recoop some expenses. I know that The Hebard Co. of Rockford originally made them, and called them a Hebard Shop Mule. When Hebard made them they had IH engines and parts. Ours has a Buda engine w/an Allis data tag, The trans has IH cast in it as do just about every other cast piece on it, the rearend has the IHC logo stamped in the back of the pumpkin. I would say that this is just a cobbled up tug except it has an Allis data tag riveted to it that calls it a model TG24. If anyone wants to see they can come to the Historic Farm days in Penfield IL july 13,14,&15 (Featuring Allis-Chalmers)or I can e-mail pics to anyone who might be able to help.

That sounds like a unique outfit Steve. We are going to attend the Penfield show and bring along Mom's A Allis. I'll check out the tug

Never heard of the tractor, but sounds real interesting. I am going to the AC show in July, would like to see it. If you have a picture i would sure like to see it. Afraid i cant help you much with data. What year do you think it is? The BUDA plant was pretty old. Does it look like a industrial version of the "B".

If you make it to the show you'll deffinetly know it when you see it. we think it's 1956 by the casting in the trans. It looks just like the baggage tugs you would see at an airport, nothing like a tractor. see ya at the show. where about you from? I'll also have a WD at the show. Dad will have the tug and an unstyled WC w/mounted cultivator. so the tug will probably be near those.
