Power steering D-19

The power steering on my D-19 diesel is beginning to act up. Most of the time it works good then it will start acting like it has no power steering at all. I checked the fluid level and it is full.Any suggestions . Thanks

Check your power steering pump pulley, it may be loose. My D-19 had the exact same problems and that was the culprit. I had to have the hole in the pulley welded closed and redrilled to fix. Fortunatly the pump shaft wasn't damaged. Good Luck, Dave
