Hi, I'm back.
Got the magneto fixed. Got the Carb rebuilt. The tractor runs fine with lots of power. But, only for about an hour before the plugs foul out. Black carbon coats the plugs. Have talked to the place that rebuilt carb. Said it tested well. Talked to guy who owned WD45 before I bought it. Said it would run about a month before plugs fouled. Get blue smoke out of stack a lot. Compression test. 87-75-84-84. Any other suggestioins?

Mike, Sounds like it might be time to go through head, pistons, and rings, etc. Compression not bad but I would think it could be better. Could be some oil rings cruded up or fatigued valve springs or bad valve guides, etc.Might as well roll up your sleeves and get down and dirty. Its FUN !!!

Dale is giving you good advise. Carbon in more than likly built up in the head and now breaking loose and shorting the plugs. I have taken heads off that have an unbeleveable amount of carbon buildup in the fireing chamber and on top nof the pistons.
